Ballet is an art passed down by mentoring and personal coaching. It is passed down generation to generation by mouth and personal instruction. Learning ballet from a book is as impossible as learning a language from a dictionary and so
the Russian Ballet Academy of South Africa personally brings a direct lineage of training to our children’s hearts, minds and bodies.
Through an exchange program with some of the most prestigious establishments
in Russia, Kazakhstan and America, the 2019 master classes promises to be events not to be missed. The classes will be presented by Ballet Masters from The Miami Arts Theatre Ballet (USA), Kazan State University of Culture
and Arts (Russia) and the Alexander Selezenev Choreography School (Kazakhstan).
The master classes are aimed at dancers of all ages and will introduce students to the Vaganova method and will cover classical ballet
and folk dance.
